Meet Emma

One of the peculiar children that I've met is Emma. But she's also the most special, but not for her peculiarity (which, by the way, is pyrokinesis- the ability to create fire with the mind).

Her and my Grandpa were lovers in Miss Peregrine's home. That is, until my Grandpa decided to leave the "loop" (the place in the universe where these children never age, very "Peter Pan"-esque). Once he left the loop, he started to age and then fell in love with the woman who was my Grandmother. That obviously was the end of the relationship because once my grandpa left, he came to America, never to see any of the children again.

I have the sense that she doesn't belive me that I'm not my Grandpa. She keeps calling me Abe because none of the children want to believe that I came from him, nor can they believe that he aged and would be old enough to have children, let alone GRANDchildren.

I kinda like her though. She's really pretty and she's super protective of the other children, kind of like an older sister figure. She does have quite the temper though.

There's just something different about her...
